It was while watching top gun as a teenager, I decided I wanted to be a pilot.
I wanted to travel the world and have a glamorous life.
But soon after completing an aviation science degree,flying and wearing a uniform a band and surfed my local reef break for a few years then decamped to San Francisco where I lived in the Mission District, waited tables and discovered my passion for photography.
After studying at San Francisco”s College of Fine Arts, I returned to Australia to begin my photography career in Sydney.
Fast-forward 12 years and I”m fortunate to be kept busy shooting the things I love, I get to travel the world shooting magazine and advertising jobs, photograph and eat some of the tastiest food prepared by some of the world “s best chefs, meet and plus peek inside some amazing homes and hotels.
I love the variety that lifestyle photography brings. But whatever I”m shooting, I like to give it a mood or an emotion. The aim is to make the images modern and relaxed yet timeless.
And when I”m not on the road with a camera,life at home in Sydney can feel pretty amazing and hectic with my wife Jody and my three little girls Scarlett, Roxie and Olive.
